FTV Publicité soon close to Orange?

According to inhouse letter from France Télécom syndicate CFE-CGC-Unsa to CEO Didier Lombard, French telco Orange could acquire 30% to 40% of France Télévisions’ advertising unit, France Télévisions Publicité. The telco group appears in an FTV short list after the launch of a consultation led by bank Rothschild and whose closure is set for the end of this year.
Several groups could be interested in taking stakes such as Lagardère, Le Figaro, Canal+, NextradioTV or holdings created by media investors Stéphane Courbit and Fabrice Larue, reports French press.
France Télécom syndicate is asking the CEO to inform the company about this project.
