Hello for the most smart here is of which to make is even its jtag:

Dictionary:
Full dump = it is the set boot + firmware + list of tronspondeurs, it serves generally for rescheduling(reprogramming) a bios of the metabox after degradation software, it is injectable only by jtag interface.
Jtag interface = it is a young cable of 12 cms db25, serves for rescheduling a flea(chip) bios on the card mother of the metabox via pc directly, considers held that the port(bearing) the serial port does not detect any more after damage caused possibly by bad flashage
In which case:
If your demo is blocked on ON either if it does not post a signal you have to resuscitate him, thus erase the bios and reschedule it with the adequate DUMP, You have to have an interface or a jtag cable, the software to be used for it is the jtag magic or wall.
This post aims at bringing certain lightings on the problem of the ONE from the metabox continuation to a failed flashage.
The receiver Metabox uses mainly two families of two families of programmable fleas flashable ):
- 29LV160BT/29LV160ABT,
- 29LV160TT/29LV160ATT
These two families of chips are totally incompatible between them.
Chips 29LV160BT / 29LV160ABT accommodate the sector of starting up (boot sector) at the bottom of the memory ( Bottom Boot) chips 29LV160TT / 29LV160ATT accommodate the sector of starting up (boot sector) in the top of the memory ( Top Boot) When to load you an incompatible firmware with the receiver, the program of starting up is not going to be found, where from you with a blocking of the receiver on
When the structure of the boot is damaged further to a bad flashage (bad flash rom, bad procedure, etc.), and even if this one is found, the receiver blocks(surrounds) on STRT (a JTAG is inevitable).
The original metabox uses chips 29LV160TT / 29LV160ATT (pip(top) boot sector) metabox clones and fellow men use chips 29LV160BT / 29LV160ABT (bottom boot sector)
Chip M29W160DT is compatible with chips 29LV160TT / 29LV160ATT. Other chips are compatible with these last ones.
The dreamsoft seems to be compatible only with chips 9LV160TT / 29LV160ATT / M29W160DT Certain versions of dreamsoft detect badly the chip or the tuner and this even if the receiver is an original metabox.
Procedure:
Before beginning:
1) The cable of Jtag should not be longer than 12 ". Make the shortest possible.
2) Before you decided to improve your receivers, make a check of your original Firmwares.
3) The ROM of your receiver can fade and reprogram has several occasions.
4) The load of a firm forgery in your receiver will not damage your ROM,
But will return only your a little bit crazy receiver. You can use Jtag to reprogram it.
5) If Jtag can read your ROM, then the ROM is very well. Otherwise it is corrupted.
6) It is always surer to use Jtag to improve your receiver it is better that the cable DB9.
7) When you use the cable db9 to load firm in your receiver, shall always have you a light error in the port or in the transfer
Check of the ROM:
1) Put out(switch off) the receiver and remove quite the cables of connecting.
2) Connect the JTAG with the port of parallel of computer and your receiver.
3) Light the receiver.
4) To throw Jkey, an error message has to be appear because the microphone is not in the circuit closed by the mode.
5) Write the address of the beginning as 7FE00000 and length as 200000.
6) Press on Save Mem (Save Flash in previous).
7) Maintain this file in a sure FILE.
Disappearance of the Flash:
Before of program your ROM, it is necessary to erase it always at first.
1) Put out(switch off) the receiver and remove quite the cables of connecting.
2) Connect the JTAG with the portof parallel of computer and your receiver.
3) Light(switch on) the receiver.
4) To throw(launch) Jkey, an error message has to be appear because the microphone is not in the mode closed circuit.
5) Press on the immediate button of tools (Flash tools).
6) Observe all the warnings.
7) Press on the immediate button of disappearance (Erase Flash button) and wait for some second.
If that does not walk(work) you have to unlocker the ROM (a post will be made on the unbolting of the rom)
8) Prepare you to program it now.
The procedure jtag:
1. Start wall.exe
2. HE will say: " Warning! The ID is THIS CLICK MESSAGE "OK" code is incorrect " to ignore.
3. Click " REFRESH "
4. Click button " SELECT " And navigate to your .bin FILE
5. And navigate in your " Flash Base Address " and on Fields " Length ( Hex) "
6. In the menu "ACTION"("SHARE") select "PROGRAM flash"
7. Click "OK" to confirm the operation
8. Wait until the operation is finished.
9. Close not Wall. Exe
Programming of the flash:
1) Put out(switch off) the receiver of the main grip(taking) and remove quite cables.
2) Connect the JTAG with the bearing of parallel of computer and your receiver.
3) Light(switch on) the receiver.
4) To throw Jkey, an error message has to be appear because the microphone is not in the mode closed circuit.
5) Press on the immediate button of tools (Flash tools).
6) Observe all the warnings.
7) Press on the immediate button of registration. (Write Flash button).
8) Choose the firm to load it. *(.bin )
9) Once makes, light(switch on) the receiver and put cables.
10) Light(switch on) now your receiver, go to the systems and put back(hand) to zero your receiver defect of factory.

Story:
I bought metaboxIII 29LV160BTTC-70 but suddenly stop working and the display shows strt,i load some flash-dumps,firmwares and softwares but nothing!So finally i decided to load the file witch i save from the Metabox 29LV160BTTC-70 before erasing the flash!After loading flash i load with filesender this file(METABOX3_full software with EU sat list.rar) the problem resolved and the receiver works perfect!I Attach the file because other flash-dump files didn't work for me!

After the flashing the memory I noticed that I have a small problem with irdeto module in conjunction with the card!The module works perfect until power off the receiver!When the receiver is in standby and turn it on i must put out and put in the module to make it works!I don't know it's irdeto module problem or receiver problem?I've read some posts about gamma and metabox problem!At this time i have the latest Dreamsoft 1.4.4.1 firmware but the same problem appears with 1.4.4.8 fimware!Any ideas?
