Does my Firecrypt Card needs activation?

I have just got a dragon cam off ebay and it had a firecrypt card.
Do I need to activate the card and what channels will it open.

Firecrypt is dead. It will not open anything. Sorry.

BTW Has anyone got an OS dump of a Firecrypt/Dreamcrypt card?

5 years ago these 6 month firecrypt cards that you got with a new dragon cams would open two channels Intxc and X plus adult channels on hotbird. X plus was the first to go dead altogether and then 2 years later Intxc stopped using firecrypt then changed to free X tv delight. Then last year it changed again to french lover tv and is now part of the Free X Tv 5 Channel adult package.

So no that firecrypt card you have is totally dead and useless now and is only fit for the bin. If you are after a adult card to work in your dragon for a bargan price the best card to go for is the 12 month 5 channel Free X tv card. I got mine off e bay for £54
