1. Please make PC->STB connected by RS232 (reciever under swith off status)
2. Open Serial upgards tool, then open .bin file. then press update button.
3. press front panel menu button, then switch on receiver at the same time.
4. sw updated
5. after updating, receiver will reset itself.

HI ALL,

I have upgraded my software by mistake, and here are the results:

1. NEW software has opened
2. Option "Upgrade Via Internet" has disappeared
3. NO scrambled channels are opened ow
4. I tried to download other softwares from here ... especially old one ... BUT NO success...same problem
5. WHY on in the meny Setting, Installation need PASSWORD???

I know maybe lots are facing this problem...so HELP HELP HELP

Hi,
dont worry. software upgrade is easy. password is 9876. just go to system setting and click on factory defaults for all setting and press yes. after reboot, everything will be normal and scrambeld channels will open. take notice that it will delete all your antenna settings, channels and favorites so it is better to write them down first as u need to manually enter them and scan for channels.
