Yesterday put back my card on cccam server after all is working again..today all channels whent black..update agaim via sky site?

This is all relatively new to me. I have a paid subscription that I share internally to my own network (multi-room) and a singe share to a remote location as I work away during the week.

Couple of questions:

1) Surely s*y will be able to see that my HD box has not had this "new" firmware downloaded and therefore my box is not being used and will suspect that my card is being used elsewhere?

2) Wife was wanting me to add the discovery channels to my subscription. If I do this do I need to put the card back it the s*y box to turn it on? Given the info in the above thread obviously I want to avoid this but also want to avoid the earache. (current subscription has sports and HD enabled)

3) What do you think the chances are that OSCAM will find a workaround? I am currently using CCam 2.3.0 (just got it working) and wondering if I should invest the time to get OSCAM working instead.

Really nervous at the moment. I have just invested in 3 new original dreamboxes at a cost of ~£1200 and just got them to be wife friendly. Hope I get some mileage out of them before they become debunk.

I'm kinda new to cardsharing. Have an old %ky SD box with subscription that I have not changed in years.
Now I want to move it to oscam on a linux pc.
If I upgrade my subscription to HD will I get a new HD box and card? And does that mean I can't cardshare anymore?

If the new card is paired to the new HD box can't I just use that boxid in oscam?

Is this all just some hysteria or a real problem? :)

If you upgrade to HD Sky will send you a new box which when paired will add an algorithm to your card which will stop it working in Oscam. If you go down your route to get HD you need to obtain an old Thomson HD box of the type previously mentioned in this thread and pair it with that old box. This will not enable the algorithm and the card will then work in Oscam. You can pair in the box or via Oscam / online but I suggest you read the thread to find out the pros and cons.

You have to know where to look , input your box serial number manually and it hasn't worked for everybody

I dont know what has happened. I paired my card with an old Thomson box and I got all my HD channels back, and they worked fine again. But, now I find black screen ! I put the card back in the old Thomson box, and there all the HD channels work again. How has this happened? Can I fix it again? Please help!
