Is my Dragon Cam Dead?

I updated my Dragon Cam with a Predator file and it seems to have killed it.
If I place it into my receiver it causes the picture to break up and it doesn't recognise the cam is inserted. If I place it into my mates receiver it just says it "Initalising".

Can this cam be saved somehow or is it dead?

Which version did you put on the cam?

Do you have a CAS2+ / 3(+), Programer? Perhaps you *might* be able to recover.
otherwise how do you actually program the CAM in the first place, with a Fun Card 7, or with the Dragon/T-Rex Loader Card?

When you presumably were programing the "Card", did you have any trouble in doing so, and whích program(s) do you normaly use to load the Card up with?

QFT! But, I would add the highly recommend that when you try to reprogram your CAM, that you'd do so though either the CAS2+ or the CAS3 Programmer w/Dummy Card.

Basically the CAS2+ is somewhat cheper, but *might* like the Dummy Card, JTAG, and the JCard (for IceCrypt CAMs).

The CAS3+ has all the above and IIRC was about €75.(EUR), about a year ago, when I bought the Diablo CAM (Wireless Ver.).

I only have the CAS3+ Ver. so I personally do not know what comes with or w/o the CAS2+. It should be allot cheaper then either the Diablo or T-Rex Super CAMs though, and in such situations quite usefull too...

There weren't any problems updating the Cam. My receiver did the usual and asked me to turn off and remove the card. I did this as normal and when I turned the receiver back on it wouldn't recognise the Cam.

I've tried to install another Predator file without success as the receiver will no longer recognise the cam as being inserted.

I program it using a Dragon Loader card with a Dynamite card programmer.

Hi,
you can repair the Dragon Cam only with Cas Interface 3 plus.
Download the image, there are the instructions for repair the Dragon Cam.
See the image "How salting from Dummy Card to Dragon Cam with 5 wire" , you must salting with 5 wire how is the description on the cas3 manual from Dummy Card to the Dragon Cam and then trought the software clicking of repair-Dragon Cam-repair .
The dummy card is included with the Cas Interface 3 plus.
