What version of odsedit do you use?
Did you ever try editing in the transponders with that?

I didn't try editing in the transponders because if it works maybe is the solution for me and only for who is experienced.

I think the firmware solution is easy to use and definitive. It's hard, I know but it's the better.

There is no problem with the modification of TPs. This is an issue already resolved. You can have the full list of channels and transponders without any modification of the firmware. You can have ALSAT, VISION + etc. I do have them already on my ODS2000C.

The real problem is, that the receiver becomes useless once the DGA subscription is expired or the card is out of the slot. You can not see even the FTA channels with an expired DGA card or no card at all. There is a solution even on this issue, but to have it implemented we should have the possibility to transfer the neccessary modifications through RS232, that means a thorough study of the bootloader. This is possible only by having a full Flash Dump by jtagging the ODS2000C. If we had at least the flash dump, perhaps it will not be neccessary to write through JTAG, because it can be done through serial port. This means that as a first step, we just need to read the full flash, because erasing and writing it back can be done differently.

Reading the forums, you see one or two trying to jtag ODS2000C with the help of slugworth.

Sounds like it is more of a need for cloning to another brand receiver.
There are other sti5119 based receivers out there,I think it would be better to clone to another type receiver.
Once you have a full dump experts can examine the bootstrap section and possibly modify to allow cloning via serial port.
I am still looking for st20 embedded toolset v2.21 that had sti51xx support.
The ods2000 firmware posted is actually small for a receiver with 4meg flash.Most files are twice that size.I wonder if they made the receiver with 2meg flash originally then went to 4meg flash.
