Buying advice for TechniSat SkyStar USB 2 HD CI

I have nice offer for this card [85 euros] I am just new to this matter so I dont want to make newbie mistake.

    1. How much you would recommend me this card over other SkyStar models?

    2. How much this card is supported by alternative software and CS?

    3. Would I be able to watch non HD channels with it?

    4. Is there any Linux support for it?

    hi

85€ with CI it's a cool price but no Ci it's more expensive

use dvbdream ok for SD / HD channel use dvb viewer pro /progDVb pro ok but shareware

in the SS2 HD2 package : dvb viewer Te => ok for SD / HD channel ok with plugin to

gbox newcs acamd hadu all plugin for emmu or cs are ok

2 gb ram it's necessary for pc with dual core 2ghz and CG with harware hd acceleration

use 1.2 drivers for instal after upgrade to 1.3 ( 1.3 are bug )

linux drivers are ok ; ok with 9.10 xubuntu or similar

    Hi

Cccam won't work on windows but maybe with linux.
You can use hadu on windows.

Skystar HD2 is a pci card to insert on pc slot
Skystar USB is an external box using USB
PCI is available on each product. It's just a #C# common #I# interface to insert a pay-tv card or some others "gamma, mosc..."
Make sure you can use your specific card on this CI.

The 2 products can support cardsharing PC assume cardsharing) but need computer online 245/24h 7/7d to keep a good share or you'll considered as a bad peer.

Best way!!! buy a dreambox clone or azbox or Vu+ duo to get independance & preserve your PC
