What do I need to update my M2 Card?

if i buy the M2plus card what else do i need to update it
do i also have to buy some sort of programmer to update
and will it work in the hivion HD9090x ultima...???

You need either Cas3 or some Phoenix programmer (set at 3.57 MHz and Phoenix), like Infinity USB Phoenix. The card will not work in the receiver´s card slot. You need a Conax or a Dragon cam.

i have problems with the programming of m2 plus card too. i have cas3+ programmer and phoenix sc master (blue) programmer.


at both it comes always the error message: "unable to restore os, check your card"

iv had the same problem, i just increased the latency and tied again, untill it worked.

iv also heard of people's card suddenly died.

which latency you mean? the delay?? and which programmer do you use?

i loaded the latest file (digitalb) and i see the card in the dreambox and there are comming ecm in but after 2 hours, still no picture..

do i have to do something in cccam or newcs? i use a dm7020Si and use it in internal cardslot and as EMU i have CCcam 2.0.9/NewCS 1.60
