Well that's odd, my HD channels are working again. I guess my card's brief foray into its box didn't do any harm after all. It may only be a matter of time but for now, at least, it is all working. Hopefully I won't have to put the card in the box again! :)

And what did you do between them not working and then starting to work again???

You will need an older box (or the serial/version that goes with it) to be able to use the HD again..
Thomson boxes (version 4E3004) will do the trick.

Will version 4e3007 work? My card no longer clears HD channels and really need to fix it...

you need a full _valid_ serial of a box, eg. 4E3007XXXXXXXXXX
If you have one, just try it.. it wont get any worse.

I was having issues with Sky screwing up my package. The HD channels weren't working and I assumed it was because I'd put the card back in the box, but a day later some other channels stopped working and I found out that Sky had disabled some packages erroneously. After finally getting it sorted out, I was not expecting the HD channels to return but they did. So I guess the HD channels not working was for the same reason as the other channels, rather than due to putting the card back in the box briefly.

Yeah, thats exactly the only known/tested way to get HD back.

I verified this method with 4E3004xxxx cards. Post back your 4Exxxx number if it works.

or is it another one??? just trying to locate one so need to know it correct.

The thomson beeing discussed here, has serial: 4E3004xxxxxxxxx.
