I know very well from where is coming your problem but this is already discussed and we don`t need double posts. Please read the thread from the beginning and you will find the answer. The short version is here http://www.satsupreme.com/showthread...=1#post1026152
Forget about newcs, your card is need to be updated from STB for HD`s and this method will be not very longer available. Read the whole thread about all of the details.
My experience so far has been, the card was knocked out while in the OScam + PC server setup. I never put the card in the supplied Sky Receiver that was paired. Got it paired over the phone with an SD receiver and all the SD channels came back on but the HD entitlements obviously didnt update.
Got hold of the tompson box and tried pairing it with that, they claimed they couldnt do it and that the receiver would need updating to the new firmware so that I could be paired, so no HD channels at the moment. Not looking good.
There have been advancements in getting past the encryption.

NewCS you can enter the Second key, so far the issue is how do you get the key out of the original receiver?? I guess it would have to be JTAG'ed and then maybe then someone could work out how they keys can be calculated from data from the paired receiver. The solution woud appear simple, but in reality I doubt that is the case.
Combined with Viasat + Sly sharers a solution may come out. THey figured it out when the receivers where paired with a box ID 3 years ago so it should be do-able this time around as well, lets hope its doesnt take to long.
I don`t know but maybe you need to try to update thompson`s firmware if this reprogramming of the card is not implemented yet.
The correct version is this
There re is possibility about JTAG for this thompson`s.is working now all channels after using Thomson box { 4E3004 }
You'd actually be suprised. A lot of the chipsets now on boxes have secure bootloaders on chip in the CPU, which then check a signed bootloader in the flash.
If these dont add up, then the box does not boot. Very similar to the Xbox360 security system.
BT Vision or rather sigma designs (SMP8634) has the same thing in their chips also.
The thompson skyhd box also has a similar system as it uses the BCM7038 chip which supports secure boot, altho its not actually implemented in that box.

Sounds like you called sly to pair and they oviously wern't helpful. Why didn't you use the pairing web page or actually put the card in the Thomson box and use the services menu pairing which I did ?
[QUOTE=carrpet;1028398]I did try that intially, but as some people have reported its tells you that it can't pair that box & will need to Call sky.
There other issue is getting the right box. I have a 4E300E, which I dont thnik this the right receiver. I dont want to update the box as this will probably put the new software on there they might have chipset pairing. I havnt found any evidence to suggest that the tompson boxes do not support the chipset pairing, such that it would not matter if the software was updated there card would not become paired.
Entitlements to 27-9-2013 using just CCcam. Am I just lucky????Subscription will be cancelled they moment they kill my entitlements.
Just sharing internal on my Lan (multi-room) and 1 remote location as I work away during the week.
Reading other forums it looks like S*y are closing the thomson work-around.
