pls my brother how i will connect data transfer cable( RS 232 CABLE) i.e ( pin 2 - 3, pin 3 - 2 and pin 5 - 5) pls help

I can't get the DCL file into the stb.i have downloaded and xtr the the dcl loader but i can't browse to locate dcl file.Please any tuto guide on this application to get stb boot running again.With thannnksss

Hi AMir!
Just as someone has stated earlier, I have the DCL file and others including the loader. When you open the loader with the download tab selected, you can not see the DCL file when you browse for it. When you select All files from the Files of type you can see it, but if you select it this is the message you receive "Invalid Firmware file".

So, I tried the next option by selecting the channels tab, where I have the option to choose between default channels and normal channels. Selecting upload,there, when you click the browse button you will still not find the DCL file but when you choose all files in the Files of type bar you can see the DCL file. Now come to connect, and the message is CONNECT YOUR RECEIVER AND TURN IT ON.
When I choose DOWNLOAD and repeat the above the message is UNKNOWN FILE FORMAT.

My standby LED is on without the dispaly numbers or any message. It's just the standby LED.

When Reciever have a problem and dont boot again and so dont

accept any patch you can use this boot file then put new patch into

Reciever.

Is that mean when the Flash is crashed or (need to re programing) you can send this file to the STB ????
No I don't think so I try by my self the STB not responding and nothing happen ,, the set still died ..

In this case that you mean there is no need any more for get J-tag or re programmed the Flash..
